Sólo Flamenco proudly present a special Summer Flamenco Dance Workshop with Concha Jareño.

Concha is regarded as one of the most outstanding of the new generation of dancers, and her debut production “Algo” won her the Premio Revelación at the Festival de Jerez 2009. She has worked with many great performers including Belén Maya, Rafaela Carrasco and Isabel Bayón, and she has been a resident teacher at Amor de Dios in Madrid since 2004.

The workshops will take place on Saturday 18 July and Sunday 19 July, and will be aimed at two levels: “Básico” (beginner/elementary) and “Medio” (intermediate/advanced).

Sólo Flamenco are pleased to announce the next in their series of ongoing monthly workshops with acclaimed dancer, choreographer and teacher Felipe de Algeciras.

These workshops will build on the previous workshops in the series, helping us all to improve our technique and grow as dancers. There will be two workshops: a general technique class for all levels, and a technique and choreography class for dancers with 6 months experience or more.

Important Note
Both workshops will take place in The Studios, a new dance studio in the Docklands area just 200m from The O2. There is parking on the street outside, and a Pay & Display car park next door. Felipe will offer a Technique workshop for all levels on Friday 20th March, and a Technique & Choreography workshop for more advanced students on Saturday 21st March.

This weekend there will be a Sevillanas and Castanets workshop with Angélica de Jerez.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, 27th September from 3pm to 6pm and will be held in Carman’s Hall, Francis Street.

The classes will be as follows:

• 3pm to 4pm - Sevillanas dance for beginners
• 4pm to 5pm - Sevillanas dance with castanets for intermediate students
• 5pm to 6pm - Sevillanas dance with castanets for advanced students

Each class costs €10 and the whole course costs €30.
